With a consistently increasing workload, Bex Design are looking towards the future with the appointment of Imogen Lux as a trainee within our busy graphic design studio
Partnering with Wiltshire College, Bex Design are supporting Imogen with invaluable work experience whilst she studies for her NVQ Level 2 in Design Support and a BTEC Extended Certificate in Art and Design.
These qualifications are delivered under the Design Support Apprenticeship programme, an online course which allows Imogen to work and train full time in our Design Studio alongside Graphic Designer Steve Murphy.
Imogen explains what attracted her to the apprenticeship at Bex Design: “I have always been interested in art and design and became more interested in graphic design as I progressed through school.
“I studied Graphic Product Design at both GCSE and AS Levels and when the opportunity to work and train within a fast moving graphic design department was offered to me, I was really excited at the prospect.”
She continues: “Working alongside Steve, I am learning how to produce customer drawings for screen and digital production, answering customer queries via phone and email, and experiencing how a modern graphic design office works. At the same time I am able to study for my qualifications via an online program, delivering and discussing the work I produce with my course tutor Basil Axford.”
We wish Imogen every success with her apprenticeship with the knowledge that Bex Design will support her all the way.
