Record Results – Month on Month
Let’s start with the figures: From September 2020 through to November we’ve achieved record results. October was our most notable month, taking the title for the best month ever on record. And things aren’t slowing down either – our December 2020 order book is an incredible 25% up on December 2019 which will be another record! Long may it continue and a very big “thank you” for your business no matter how big or small.
Businesses Sourcing Locally
The pandemic has impacted international shipments in a number of ways, exacting a knock-on effect on businesses’ overseas supply chains.
Most notably, caps on capacity for transport via land, air, and sea led to soaring shipping costs and more competitive pricing from UK based suppliers. As a result, we saw a surge in businesses moving away from sourcing product from China, the Far East and the US and instead looking to purchase their products from a local, reliable supplier who could offer quick lead times, fair prices, and uncompromising quality. Bex were ready and waiting to step into the breach.
With this new business, we’re also seeing much larger piece part orders, leading to more substantial print runs. Consequently, our printers are operating at high capacity, which means lower up-front costs and a robust bottom line.
Additionally, many clients are looking to reduce their carbon footprint and implement more eco-friendly practices – without sacrificing standards or value for money. Our level of service, dedicated experts, and state-of-the-art facility in the South West of England perfectly positions us to fulfil this need.

After a very tough second quarter of 2020, we’ve worked incredibly hard to pull off one of the best final quarters Bex has ever seen! Tried and tested processes, a truly dedicated team, and proactive investment in our equipment enables us to meet and exceed our clients’ shifting needs consistently – no matter the circumstances. And with our supply chain returning to normal for certain materials which were in short supply during the height of the pandemic, we are confident that our service levels will only improve further.
