Bex Design are looking to take on two new apprentices, in partnership with Wiltshire College
Bex Design are once again working in partnership with Wiltshire College on Apprenticeship schemes which will provide young adults between the ages of 16-24 the opportunity to gain a working knowledge of our business whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification at the same time.
We currently have on offer Printer and Finishing Technician Apprenticeships, both potentially leading to key roles within our organisation.
Flexible, friendly and up for any challenge, our teams are all about making things happen, so if you join us get ready for exciting times ahead! You’ll combine real work with studying for a relevant NVQ qualification at our modern facility whilst receiving lots of support along the way.
In the Printing role the right candidates will get to work closely with our experienced team of print technicians and will learn every aspect of the print shop from screen preparation and reclamation, ink mixing, product inspection, measurement of tolerances and printing whether it be on a hand bench, a semi-automatic, reel labels or our flatbed digital print machines.
Print Finishing Apprenticeship
In the Finishing role the successful candidates will learn a skilled trade and receive training on the latest state-of-the-art finishing technology, including our digitally controlled electronic cutting and laser equipment, hot foil machine, fully automatic pick and place membrane switch manufacture, platen press and guillotine.
So, what do we need from you? Drive and enthusiasm are important as you’ll need to work hard and see the training through. Problem solving, an eye for detail and the ability to communicate within our busy teams are also key to both of these roles. Qualification wise we’ll expect you to have GCSE’s in English and Maths at grade A-E in order to be considered.
Both of the apprenticeships will take 24 months to complete and are offered on a full time basis. Along with the benefits that you will receive, the apprenticeships will also allow Bex Design to further expand in the future, whilst helping to combat the skills shortage that the UK Manufacturing Industry is currently facing.
To be considered for either of these roles, please email your C.V. to firstname.lastname@example.org.
